Born november 29th 2000 in Moscow in a family of art historians. 13 years old went to a McGuffin film school for youth. There she made first 4 shorts. Later on she decided not to follow a path of film studies and applied to comparative history course. Meanwhile, she continued to make films. Between 2018 and 2020 she worked on a doc about veterans of theatre. In 2020 completed her feature "My mystery". Summer 2020 she continued this filmic line with her Crimean "From death to death" — still in progress. At the moment, Faina is finishing her thesis on poisons in XV-XVII centuries.
